Dreams Don’t Always Have to Come True

I know that my desire for hockey season to be upon us is growing stronger by the day as the Avs are now infiltrating my dreams on a regular bases, but last night’s dream is all telling.

It was Game 7 (round and opponent were unidentifiable) and going into overtime. My family and I were seated in our old seats in section 316. You’ll find that even though we have great seats now, my heart will always belong up there, I did see them win the Cup from up there mind you. Anyways, the first OT was drawing to a close with little of the action expected of a Game 7 OT. But then the opposing team put Tom Brady on the ice. Yes, Brady. Not only was he skating on the ice, but he proved to be the one who scored the game winning goal against us.

I don’t think I need a dream analyst to tell me what my subconscious is telling me. One, I have a fear of losing Game 7 in OT. Two, I’m in desperate need of not only hockey, but also football to start to finally have sports worth following again. But ultimately, Tom Brady sucks no matter what sport or team he plays for.
